On the surface, Ophelia has always appeared to be the perfect image of fairness and beauty. Slowly losing control of her own life, Ophelia is left to find her own escape from a world of restraint, deceit, and loss. Through movement, sound, and poetry, O Fallen One explores what Shakespeare’s fallen damsel would dream, imagine, and recall as she descends to her death.
